Madinat Jumeirah Resort, United Arab Emirates

This is a wonderful resort in the Persian Gulf, in UAE city of Dubai. It's very calm, quiet, full of entertainment and with all the luxury you can imagine in a closed resort in one of the richest cities of the world.
In Medinat Jumeriah you have small Villas with 10 or 12 little homes and the regular apartments as in any Hotel. The resort has 3 big areas Mina A'Salam, Al Qasr Hotel and Dar Al Masyaf, in the middle crossing all the resort the is a water channel with small boats that can take you from one point to other.
The beach is private and close to all the facilities of the resort.
There are several restaurants, nightlife, several bars, spa, helt club and so one.
The small golf cars are also a must in here. There are plenty and you can request one to take you to the beach, to the restaurant or just to any point you want.

I was on a villa at Dar Al Masyaf and enjoyed a lot. The room is big, with shower, tube, a big bed and all other facilities and offers thar makes you feel a king. In the outside, some wood chairs and a table can be used individually in each apartment, to enjoy the sun.

I was alone, but these villas are made for couples or to families, as there were lots of them around.

Outside "varanda" with a wooden chair and table, welcomes you to get some tan.

This is the bed room, it was huge, something like 2,4m

Another view of the room, with bes, small table, chair and tv (on the left)

The magnificent tube. Natural and purifed salts were available and it was very nice to use

The area near the shower.

Outside view from the room's window

Meal area, an enormous zone, in the groud 0 of the main building, with delicious meals and food from all the world.

Some pictures from the "interior canal" of the resort, with the big tower, outside the resort in the picture. All the resort construction is based on the arab model.

Private beach othe Medinat Jumeirah. With lifeguards, all the help from the beach workers and a magnificient place to see the sunset and take long baths on a warm water from the gulf

Medinat Jumeirah is a wonderful resort, not cheap, but it worths a visit at least once in the life. There are several workers in the facilities, lots of Phillipines, Sri Lanka, Indians and from other countries around, all of them are very useful and nice, and help you enjoy the stay.

Quinta das Murtas, Sintra

Quinta das Murtas is a Manor House from the 19th. century that was recovered and it's now used as a guest house/small hotel.
The house is great and are very well integrated on Sintra's landscape. The rooms are the original small rooms of the house and you can't expect too much of them. They are well decorated but some details like tv placement, the showers and the room lockers are poor.
The outside has some green spaces, a fountain in the main entrance and a pool

The lunch area is excellent with birds in the outside and a good mix of choices. The manager is not a friendly men but he does is paper in a very nice way.
You must try and see by yourself, but it worth's a visit.

Sheraton Golf Parco de' Medici Hotel & Resort - Roma

This is a very nice and easy to get hotel ir Rome (Italy)
Located not far from Rome airport of Fiumicino, Parco de' Medici Hotel & Resort is a 5* hotel, with all the conditions to welcome you nice and confortable.

It has a golf course next to the hotel permisses, the breakfast is very compleate and diverse and the only problem is the internet. In a 5* hotel, where you pay a lot for your room, the internet is paid ??? 9 euros for 24h ?? Pleeeeassse!

The room is very comfortable with a complete set of furniture and lots of pillows. Toilets are regular as expected for a place like this, and you have several choices of international television.

One last, but important, eco-information. It's very interesting to see that the outside parking area is a semi-covered one, and the top of these structures are solar panels, witch are used to generate energy to the hotel. Good idea.
